About the menu

Emado's Shawarma Riau offers an inviting taste of Middle Eastern cuisine right in the heart of Bandung. The star of the menu is undoubtedly the rotisserie grilled chicken, richly spiced and perfectly juicy, paired beautifully with aromatic rice options such as butter rice, biryani, and mandhi rice. These hearty combinations evoke authentic flavors, elevated by sides like creamy yoghurt dip and a subtly spicy sambal, adding a gentle Indonesian twist without overpowering the main dishes.

Beyond the grilled chicken, Emado’s also serves traditional Middle Eastern delights like samosas—crispy, triangular pastries filled with savory meat that provide an excellent appetizer or snack. While some find the shawarma could be more flavorful, the peri peri chicken shawarma offers a pleasant kick, balanced by garlic sauce that nods to authentic Arab flavors.

Overall, Emado's Shawarma Riau stands out for its balanced spices, generous portions, and accessible taste, making it a perfect stop for those craving Middle Eastern food with a local touch in Bandung.

from a recent review —
I was looking for middle eastern cuisine in Bandung and found Emado's shwarma. I tried grilled chicken with rice and it was really good. The chicken was juicy and yummy. The sambal gives little Indonesian flavour but it was not so spicy. Unfortunately, the shawarma was a little disappointed. And the service is also a bit slow. Overall good but shawarma can be made little better to be more tasty.
